Timothy Culwick finalist award winner in the Big Bank UK Scientists and Engineers Fair

Timothy Culwick was selected from 22,000 Gold Crest award winners to be one of 98 finalists at the Big Bang UK Scientists and Engineers Fair. This was a three day event at The QEII Centre in London which was opened by Prince Andrew. Lower 6th fieldtrip to the Isle of Wight

With the introduction of the new A level specifications in September 2008 and the requirement to conduct fieldwork in the coastal environment, we moved our fieldwork location from the Yorkshire Dales to the Isle of Wight. 27 students spent five days studying coastal management and rebranding in the first week of November, based at the Medina Valley Field Centre in Newport.... more
