A Second Year Churcher’s pupil has been selected for the full Hampshire County Under 13 cricket squad for the 2026 - 27 season, following an impressive summer of cricket.

A keen all-rounder, he played 39 matches for six different club, adult and county teams, scoring more than 1,000 runs at an average of 46 and taking more than 25 wickets. He also captained three of his teams, including his club side, which enjoyed an unbeaten league run before lifting the trophy at the Utilita Bowl this weekend. His club batting average for the season was an impressive 116.

Mr Maier, Head of Cricket at Churcher’s, said: “A huge congratulations on a fantastic achievement. His commitment to cricket and the progress he has made over the past season have been outstanding. It is wonderful to see his hard work recognised with selection for Hampshire, and we wish him every success for the season ahead.”
