Girls Show Grit on New Astro

Churcher’s girls’ hockey teams took to the brand-new astro pitch on Saturday 26 September for a series of tough and competitive matches against St John’s Leatherhead.

There was plenty of determination and grit on show throughout the afternoon, with the girls working hard for one another and showing real resilience as they battled for every opportunity. The matches provided a great test early in the season and plenty of valuable experience to build on.

It was also a fantastic opportunity to make full use of the new astro pitch and dugouts, which provided an excellent setting for an exciting afternoon of school sport.
