Alex Lawther (Class of 2013) was spotted on the BBC Breakfast sofa last week. He was talking about his film Old Boys, which has a restricted cinema release.

He has been doing a round of interviews for the release, one of which, with the film’s director, was published here on the website HeyUGuys.

Three reviews of the film are linked below, in which Alex is described as “that very interesting actor”, “always excellent” and “a charming and likeable lead”.

The next film featuring Alex due to be released is his first foreign-language film, The Translators, which was made entirely in French, and he is reported to be filming again in France for a supporting role in Wes Anderson’s next film, The French Dispatch.
