Junior School pupil Rosalie and Senior School pupil Evelyn, along with their father Mr Forbes, Head of Sport and Outdoor Learning at the Junior School & Nursery, recently represented England at the WUKF World Karate Championships, which took place over 4 days in Dundee.

The World Championships consisted of 4014 entries from 1826 competitors representing 31 countries. Karate England took a squad of 92 competitors and so to simply have been selected was a huge achievement.

We are thrilled to hear their results:

Mr Forbes

Kata: 4th place

Individual Kumite: World Championship Silver Medalist

Team Kumite: Quarter finalist

Evelyn

Kata: 7th place

Kumite: Quarter finalist

Rosalie

Kata: 7th place

Many congratulations, Team Forbes!
