Year 3 Visits Sustainability Centre

Year 3 enjoyed spending the day working together as a year group on their topic: Caring for the Environment, when they visited the Sustainability Centre.

Activities focused on investigating two habitats and pond dipping minibeasts in the woodlands - dragonfly nymph and baby newt were the most exciting finds.

Hapazome or leaf printing was also a huge hit with the children and they enjoyed bringing their creative efforts home to show their families.

Lastly, sensory discovery in the herb garden was also fascinating, as well as being particularly fragrant!
