Joel Competes at U18 Gymnastics Championships

On 25 February Lower Sixth student Joel took part in the U18 Men's English Championships in Telford.

Joel, who trains with Woking Gymnastics Club, competed on six pieces of apparatus (floor, pommel, still rings, vault, parallel bars and the horizontal bar) and was placed a very respectable 18^th overall,  qualifying for the U18 Men's British Championships which will took place in Liverpool at the end of March.

In addition, Joel was lucky enough to meet Max Whitlock OBE, a triple Olympic and world champion gymnast during the U18/Senior Men's pre-competition training!
