Senior Sixth Form

Our Lower Sixth Geographers spent a weekend in early June along the Somerset coast, practising techniques and implementing their sampling strategies to collect primary data for their Non Examined Assessments.

Foci ranged from beach morphology at Porlock Bay to sense of place in Watchet and the effectiveness of coastal defences in Minehead.

Despite some grim forecasts, they thankfully escaped the worst of the rain and were based at the architecturally grand FSC field centre at Nettlecombe Court.
