Work Starts on Temporary D&T Block

In preparation for the start of building the new Goodfield Centre, which starts in July 2019, work has begun building the new temporary Design and Technology block which be used during the build. 

The Goodfield Centre, the future new home for Design and Technology, Music, English and History at Churcher's College Senior School, will be a hugely exciting new addition to the school with 2,500m2 across two storeys incorporating a 250 seater auditorium, 11 classrooms, 15 music instrumental lesson/practice rooms, Design and Technology workshops, design studios and orchestral rehearsal rooms. 

It will be sited across the area where Design and Technology, Music and the surrounding area is presently situated.

A Phased Approach

We will be building in a two phase programme to minimise disruption. D&T will relocate to a temporary specialist workshop in the first year allowing us to complete their fantastic new facilities plus 9 classrooms for English and History above.
