Several Churcher’s boys played a key role as local affiliated rugby club PRFC U18s rounded off their season with a superb win over New Milton in the plate final at Winchester RFC, watched by a large crowd. Having already secured the division title last month, the team produced another outstanding performance to complete an excellent campaign.

In an almost error-free display, PRFC overwhelmed a strong New Milton side with fast, confident rugby throughout. The centre partnership of Sam and Ted proved particularly devastating, causing problems for the opposition all afternoon with their pace, movement and attacking play.

For several players, the match marked the end of 13 years of PRFC youth rugby. While their time with the club has now come to a close, the friendships and memories built along the way will undoubtedly last for years to come.

Congratulations to all the boys involved on an outstanding season and a fitting end to their U18 rugby journey.
