'Career Bite' Talk by a Consultant Psychiatrist

We were treated to an incredibly interesting ‘Career Bite’ talk recently by a Consultant Psychiatrist who specialises in working in prisons.

Learning about the training pathway and role of a Psychiatrist was very informative and demonstrated one of the wide ranging and disparate specialised careers available in Medicine.

Taking this speciality into a prison context was fascinating to hear about and the relaxed and conversational style of the session, as well as the novel content, led to a great discussion along with lots of questions from pupils.

Our remaining Career Bites this term will concentrate on working in the Gaming industry, Law and Digital Engineering.
