Mock Interviews for Aspiring Medics and Dentist

Our Upper Sixth Medical Programme students - aspiring doctors and a dentist - recently had the fantastic opportunity to take part in a mock Multiple Mini Interview (MMI), the format now used for most medicine, dentistry and other healthcare interviews. 

Luminis Careers visited the school with a team of six doctors to put the students through their paces. The evening began with a pre-brief, followed by a 90-minute mock MMI session with feedback, before returning to the classroom for a lively debrief over refreshments. 

It was wonderful to see all the preparation and hard work from the Churcher's College Medical Programme coming together, and to watch the students’ confidence grow as they performed so impressively in front of medical professionals. 

Earlier this term, students also completed a one-day Interview Skills course and are now taking part in a series of online mock interviews, many run by Old Churcherian medics currently at medical school, as well as current and former Churcher’s parents - all to whom we are very grateful.
