Higher Education Evening

In February, our Lower Sixth students and their parents and guardians attended the Lower Sixth Higher Education Evening. The event included talks from the Headmaster, Reena Littlehales (Student Recruitment and Access Officer at Keele University and Chair of the National Association for Student Recruitment and Outreach), and Kirsty Verney, Head of Futures, who spoke about preparing for entry into Higher Education and the support available at Churcher’s.
While Lower Sixth students receive extensive information, advice and guidance from the school, parental support during the research, application and decision-making stages is equally valuable. Crucially, students also need to begin preparing for their applications in good time, which is why we are launching their ‘planning for life beyond Churcher’s’ preparation now.
