Senior Trips & Visits

GCSE R&P students experienced diverse faith perspectives through two recent trips.

A visit to Winchester contrasted the historic cathedral with the evangelical Christ Church, prompting discussions on differing beliefs, including views on evolution. Later in the term, a Petersfield tour showcased community-focused religion. Stops included St. Laurence Roman Catholic Church, a Methodist Church with its active foodbank, and St. Peter's, where The King's Arms youth charity presented their work. As per Mr Lofthouse’s tradition, the trip concluded with a cemetery visit, where we honoured Sir Alec Guinness’s grave with an Obi-Wan Kenobi figure, recognizing his iconic Star Wars role and the epic battle of Good vs Evil.
