Tennis Tournament: Play Your Way to Wimbledon
On Saturday 17 May, Churcher's College took part in the nationwide competition: Play Your Way to Wimbledon, with more than 120 pupils taking part in both singles and doubles matches. The event gave students the opportunity to compete for a place in the County and Area Finals, which will take place in June.
Tournament Results
In the Under 18s Boys’ Doubles, a third-year pair finished in 1st place, while a Lower Sixth team were runners-up. The Under 18s Girls’ Doubles was won by a partnership from the Lower Sixth.
For the Under 14s Singles, the boys’ winner was a Third Year student, with another Third Year student finishing 2nd. In the girls’ singles, a Third Year student took 1st place, and a Second Year student was runner-up.

The tournament saw a good level of participation and effort from all involved, and the school community wishes the best of luck to those moving forward in the competition.
