History Trip to Berlin

Students had a fascinating time exploring key sites around Berlin such as Checkpoint Charlie and the Brandenburg Gate, enhanced by the renowned Mr Crossman walking tour.

Highlights included a sunset view in the dome of the Reichstag, eating a Bratwurst at the 1936 Olympic Stadium and watching President Zelensky’s motorcade drive past us whilst visiting the Holocaust Memorial. Students learnt much about the Cold War and WWII but they also delighted in practising their best German in the Christmas markets!
