Churcher’s College pupils delivered an outstanding performance at the Hampshire Schools Cross Country Final, with a large group of runners competing and several earning qualification for the Inter-Counties event.
A total of 17 first and second year pupils took part in the county competition, representing the school with determination and enthusiasm.
Among the standout results were six second years who qualified to represent Hampshire at the Inter-Counties Championships — including four girls and two boys. The four girls produced a particularly dominant performance, finishing 1st, 3rd, 4th and 7th in their race. Their impressive results also helped South East Hampshire secure victory in the team event.
In addition, two first years also qualified for the Inter-Counties Championships.
We congratulate all the students who competed and wish those who have qualified the very best as they go on to represent Hampshire at the next stage of the competition.
